You may experience a slight pinching or stinging sensation during the insertion of the needle, but the discomfort from this treatment is generally tolerable. To minimize any discomfort, we take measures to help you by applying a topical numbing cream pre-procedure.

Post-Treatment: Refrain from massaging the treated areas on the day of the procedure. For the first 4 hours following the treatment, avoid lying down. Do not apply heat to the treated areas on the day of the procedure. On the treatment day, steer clear of activities that may cause facial flushing, such as drinking alcohol, using hot tubs, and engaging in vigorous exercise.

You can expect noticeable results to appear within 3-5 days, with the skin feeling tighter and with reduced movement and wrinkling in the injected areas. The full effects may take up to 2 weeks to become apparent. For static lines and wrinkles, they may gradually improve over time with repeated treatments. The duration of the results typically lasts 3 to 5 months, depending on how your body breaks down the toxin.

We advise patients to consider undergoing this procedure at least every 3-5 months. However, the frequency ultimately depends on individual preferences. Some patients choose to return only after the results have completely worn off, in which case a touch-up treatment of smaller doses would be performed.

After the procedure, expect minimal downtime, with some possible side effects like redness, swelling, and bruising, which are normal and expected. These effects typically subside on their own, with redness and swelling improving within a few hours and bruising resolving in 7-10 days. To alleviate any discomfort, swelling, or bruising, you can apply a cool compress or wrapped ice pack to the treated area/s for 15 minutes every 1-2 hours, as needed. The good news is that you can resume work after the treatment!

Good news! You can apply makeup 2-3 hours after the treatment.
